To launch Youtube Shorts, we leaned into a truth about Youtube. That YT is the OG when it comes to remix culture. For almost two decades (srsly that long), creators and artists have gone to Youtube to remix long form videos. Now with the launch of Youtube Shorts, we wanted to show how easy this is with YTS for (so hot right now, thx gen z) short form videos. We worked with leading creators in Canada to celebrate the power of remix culture. And of course, gave this culture an anthem — a remix of the 50’s cult hit Short Shorts with one of the prolific producers out of Canada: Wondagurl.
